Last week was the sheep shearing at Joy Comb’s Providence Farm in McLeansville, North Carolina. Irish born John O’Connell was down from Connecticut with his blades to do the work.

It’s shearing time in Piedmont North Carolina. Irish born blade shearer John O’Connell was shearing sheep at Providence Farm in McLeansville, NC yesterday and will be at Rising Meadow Farm in Liberty, NC this weekend.
