The new goat kids are hitting the ground fast these days at Lindale Dairy near Silk Hope, North Carolina. Farm owner Neil Lindley works with his animals in the goat barn on his organic dairy. Neil produces organic cows milk and this year is starting to furnish goat’s milk to my neighbors at Goat Lady Dairy in Grays Chapel, North Carolina.

Steve Tate of Goat Lady Dairy stopped by the goat barn at Lindale Dairy in Silk Hope, North Carolina. Steve was showing me the new facility. The folks at lindale are providing some of the milk for Goat Lady’s cheese this year as Steve and his family expand their operation. We were a little late. The three females below were part of a set of quintuplets. Their two brothers had already been moved to the buck area on the farm.

My family and I were at Goat Lady Dairy in Grays Chapel, North Carolina recently for one of their extraordinary farm dinners, and we received a additional treat. While we were taking a short tour, two of the ladies of the farm, Lee and Regina, were tending to a pair of twin goat kids only minutes old.
