Asheboro Criterium
Saturday was a cold and rainy day, but the cyclists were out in Asheboro for the inaugural Asheboro Criterium. Riders in several amateur and professional classes raced on a closed .6 mile street course in downtown. The events were a combination of timed rides plus sprint finishes. Great turnout of riders, spectators were a little scarce. They missed an interesting event.

The Last Two Weeks
Two weeks ago, this happened on the floor above my studio.
Which caused this.
And brought a visit by this guy.
Things slowly began to dry out.
And now the studio’s starting to come back together. It’s been a strange two weeks, but we are getting there. I hope.

Ocracoke
Located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Ocracoke is an isolated yet extraordinary destination. You have to try hard just to get there (accessible by ferry only), but it is worth the effort. Haven’t been in a while. I really miss it. From my film archives.

Cadillac
Odell Routh had his 56 Cadillac Fleetwood out on Saturday. It was owned originally by his wife’s aunt and uncle Jo and Ed Thompson, who bought it new. I remember the Thompsons driving it to church when I was a young boy.
