Old railroad cars are lined up awaiting restoration at the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Salisbury, North Carolina.
"I’ve Been Working on the Railroad"
Norfolk and Southern has been working on their line between Liberty and Greensboro, North Carolina, replacing old wooden ties. They’ve been stacking them along the track near Pleasant Garden and they have created a mountain of sorts.

Hamlet Depot
Historic Victorian train depot, Hamlet, North Carolina. Located at the crossing of main east/west and north/south lines of the old Seaboard Coast Line Railroad, now CSX. The depot was moved and restored a few years ago and is now a museum as well as an active Amtrak station.
